You may also wish to explore the new national resource on Shared Decision Making developed as part of the Realistic Medicine initiative.
What does this mean for the Effective Practitioner?
Strong clinical decision making is essential in the delivery of safe, effective and person centred care. The effective practitioner carefully considers the interventions required for the people in their care so a strong understanding of the clinical decision process making is essential.
